JKT48 general manager of theater and Team T captain Melody Nurramdhani announce her graduation during group's Request Hour 2017 event at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta.
She apologies for not bringing the group into Gelora Bung Karno stadium which is their current dream, Melody also wishes JKT48 to get their first original single even if its without her.

With a halting voice, Melody says that she will soon graduate from JKT48. Suddenly the announcement made everyone who witnessed JKT48 REQUEST HOUR SETLIST BEST 30 2017 was shocked, the JKT48 members who were beside Melody also seemed to cry to hear the announcement.
"I hope this time is the right time for me to decide this, I know I have a lot of flaws here, but I try to run what I want and what you want, for jkt48, and my brothers here all. So with this, I Melody, from Team J and Team T, as well as the General Manager of the theater, decided to graduate from JKT48, "Melody said.
