AKB48 Group members are allowed to apply PRODUCE 48

Details about the new Mnet 'PRODUCE 48' program are now revealing. At AKB48 Kouhaku Uta Gassen event held on 10 Decmber 2017, it was announced that AKB48 members can participate in AKB48 collaboration event with PRODUCE 101.

PRODUCE48 was the third season of the continuation of the PRODUCE 101 variety of the second season that won Wanna One.

There is no special treatment for participating members of AKB48 Group, they will also be selected with other contestants.

Members of the AKB48 Group who wish to participate in the registration are open from 15 December to 10 January 2017.

While the total audition will be held from January to February. So whether the sister group from abroad like JKT48, BNK48, TPE48, and MNL48 will register its member to follow this program PRODUCE 48?
