Total first day sales of AKB48 9th album on Oricon chart

January 24, 2018, AKB48 officially released the group's 9th album 'Bokutachi wa, Ano Hi no Yoake wo Shitteiru [僕 た ち は, あ の 日 の 夜 明 け を 知 っ て い る]'.

On the first day of sales, the album sold 540,913 copies and topped Oricon's daily album charts.

The album was released in three types namely Type A [CD + DVD], Type B [CD] and Theater Edition [CD] consisting of a collection of songs contained in AKB48's 47th single 'Shoot Sign [シ ュ ー ト サ イ ン]' up to the latest single '11gatsu no Anklet [11 月 の ア ン ク レ ッ ト]'. The album also features a new song that amounts to eight songs.
