On August 20, 2018, the final stage of Yoshimotozaka46's idol group audition has been held in Tokyo. And, 46 members were selected as the First Generation of this group.
The final stage of the sixth audition or assessment held today was also attended by producer Akimoto Yasushi. Of the 80 candidates who had succeeded in reaching the fifth stage of the audition, 46 candidates were selected as Yoshimotozaka46 members.
Yoshimoto Creative Agency officials Fujiwara Hiroshi also announced the group's initial Center was Ogawa Haruna [Spike] and Saito Tsukasa [Trendy Angel]. In addition, Murakami Shoji who also passed the audition will be the oldest idol with 63 years of age.
After the announcement of acceptance, the first successful candidate wore the official Yoshimotozaka46 costume, which was a uniform with a gray blazer and orange tie and ribbon.
