AKB48 Okawa Rio announce graduation, it's her speech

AKB48 member Okawa Rio has announced her graduation from the group. This was announced by Okawa at the theater show which was held on 4 October 2018.

In the announcement, Okawa revealed, "I, Okawa Rio, will graduate from AKB48."

Furthermore, "I've been thinking about sincerity for a long time, but I'm happy to spend time with members and fans, making it difficult for me to decide this."

Regarding the activity plan after graduation, She revealed, "After graduating from the group, I want to learn a lot more than before, I want to learn a lot to become an ideal woman."

Regarding the graduation schedule, Okawa explained, "I have not yet decided on the time for my theater performance, but the discovery of my last handshake will occur on November 25. Please support it until the end."

Okawa Rio joined the group in 2013 as Generation 15. She was promoted to Team 4 in 2014 when AKB48 held AKB48 Group Daisokaku Matsuri.
