Tonight, SNH48 held a 'SNH48 GROUP 6th Idol Annual General Election' concert at Shanghai Mercedes Benz Arena and the final voting results were announced. Voting has been opened on June 8 until July 27 at 12:00 Shanghai Time.
In this fifth sousenkyo there are 48 positions contested by over 200 members from three groups namely SNH48, BEJ48, GNZ48, and IDOLS Ft. For the first time five members of senbatsu last year did not get a position in this year's election. They are Huang Tinting, Feng Xinduo, Lu Ting, Zhao Yue (Team NII), and Lin Siyi (Team HII). This is because their fan clubs do not open voting donations.
Therefore, this year's senbatsu is filled with many new faces of SNH48 GROUP. In the meantime, the most idol groups have positions are SNH48 (25 members), followed by GNZ48 in number two (13 members), and third BEJ48 (10 members). There were also many members who had never been ranked for six elections and this time for the first time they were ranked. For the first time, TOP 3 was filled by members of the BEJ48 sister group, Duan Yixuan.
