AKB48 Team 8 officially announced an audition to occupy an empty slot representative from Fukui prefecture.
Fukui Prefecture is one of the prefectures (at the provincial level) in Japan located in the Chubu Region, Honshu Island.
This audition opens with application registration, which can be sent today until Friday, November 15 at 12:00 local time.
The requirements applied in this Team 8 audition are
(1) residents in Fukui Prefecture or those from Japan, do not need experience, priorities from Fukui prefectural residents,
(2) Girls 12-21 years old who are not affiliated with other agencies,
(3 ) After qualifying, to start activities as a new team member you must go regularly to receive training in Tokyo.
AKB48 also stressed that elementary students are not allowed to register.
Children under the age of 15 must have a parent's permission.
Applications can be made online or submitted in the form of a file to the Team 8 audition committee at the AKB48 Theater.
Team 8 is a team that has strong autonomy with a different concept and is inversely proportional to AKB48 which is "The Idol Who Went To See You".
Its 47 members must be filled in fully because it represents 47 prefectures in Japan.
Every member who passes will be replaced through an audition. Fukui's representative, Cho Korena, graduated from AKB48 in February.
